How it works
Parent Consult
First we start with what your child’s learning needs are. This 30-45 minute free call gives us a chance to hear your concerns, answer your questions, and when necessary, move forward with a comprehensive dyslexia screen.
Comprehensive Screening
Next, we hold a dyslexia screening is a brief assessment designed to identify whether an individual may be at risk for dyslexia. While a screening does not diagnose dyslexia, it helps determine whether additional evaluation or targeted reading intervention may be beneficial.
Screenings provide valuable insight into a student's literacy skills and can help families make informed decisions about the next steps for support.
1:1 Intervention
Finally, we proceed with one-on-one tutoring using the Barton Reading and Spelling Program. a structured, multi-sensory program designed specifically for students with dyslexia and other reading and spelling difficulties.
Each session is individualized to your child’s needs and pace. Rather than asking students to memorize words or guess from context, Barton explicitly teaches them how our language works—building strong skills in phonemic awareness, decoding, spelling, reading fluency, and comprehension.

With the right instruction, reading can become a place of success instead of frustration. Through individualized, structured, and multisensory instruction, we help students build strong foundational reading skills while growing their confidence along the way. As skills strengthen, so does the belief that “I can do this.”
